When staging your home for sale, remember not everybody is a dog or cat lover. If you have pets, get all rugs steam cleaned and be extra vigilant about vacuuming and washing surfaces. Buyers don’t want to walk into a home and see a bowl full of dog food, smell the kitty litter box or have pet hair stuck to their clothes. It will give buyers the impression your home is not clean. When showings happen, make sure you have a plan in place to conceal the critters.
